back at SF
Today was the first day of class full of a plethora of emotions.
Leaving the kids was hard this morning. For more than a year now, and all of Sabastian’s life I have spent every single day with them, and when I am not with them it is always brief. Today I left them for nearly 6 hours.
I planned out their day, they had to stay home on account of Sabastian having the plague. So far it is isolated to him, and we are praying it stays that way.
I got Samara’s assignments all laid out, and Sabastian’s day planned.
Getting in the car was so simple. I got in started the car and drove away. No car seats, no messing with anything. I got to listen to whatever station I wanted to, and however loud I wanted too. It was so boring. I kept "checking" on the kids in the back only to find their seats empty and quiet.
I was anxious and excited about going back. Overall, I think it will be a great semester.
The day was boring. Today was just the syllabus day, and in two of my classes I have the same prof back to back, so it was the same speech twice. Oh well as class progresses it won’t be bad.
I like my on campus professors. I enjoy my art history one, and my soc one I may not always agree with her, but she’s lively. It will make for a good semester.
I am older, yes. Not the oldest so that is nice.
On Sabastians party day there is a gallery opening I would love to attend, but I don’t know if I will make.
I had forgotten how tiring school is, especially pregnant, and how painful those chairs can be. If I sit one way my back hurts, another my hips ache, and another I can’t breathe (I have been having significant diaphram pain with this baby, something very new)
Overall, I am optimistic. I am exhausted. Simply exhausted, but I actually did something, so it is okay to be tired.
I am excited for you.

Yay for school. Enjoy! I think that your heart rate goes up when you are pregnant? All I can tell you is that when I am stitting still and it hits 145 I want to die.
