baby dreams & allergies tests

I had my first bh contraction yesterday. And so they begin right?

I had forgotten how much they come at inconvient times. Oh well, it is a process, strengthening my body for labor..

I had such an interesting dream last night, the baby came in the middle of a snow storm. One so bad you couldn’t drive anywhere. Yes, with my due date it is highly possible that could happen here. The baby was born fully clothed, so we didn’t know what the gender was. Then when we tried to announce the name everyone told us they hated it. To which I replied I hated their choice.

It was such an odd dream. Perhaps playing more into the the fears and uncertainities of it all rather than anything that will actually happen.

Sabastian is having tummy issues. Lots of diherra and lots of horrific rashes. I finally have had enough of it.

He is finally old enough for an allergy test so I took him last night. I need to know for sure what it is I am feeding him that makes him sick, and not do this elimination thing in hopes we might know something.

He is at high risk for allergies coming from a family history of them, and then being born via c/s.

(there is more than one reason I want a vbac)

So within a week we will know for sure if he truly has an allergy to things (we suspect milk and maybe nuts)

Fun right? Of course.  Our family dinners are already fairly allergy friendly, (no soy, wheat, pepper, or cinamon) what’s another allergy in the mix?

Tomorrow I see the new Ob, and then thrusday the current one. I expect my line to come out on thrusday so I am not going in for a dressing change tomorrow like I am suposed to. I mean whats the point if I am just going the next day to have it out? Everytime they change it my skin only breaks down more. I am sure one day will not hurt anything. It looks good no signs of infection.

And with that I need to get ready for class. Yay, class!

Gut problems like diarreha could be an early indicator of Sensory Processing as my SPD clinician has told me to watch Pickle for gut problems. Just a thought. xxxxxxxxxxxx

That was something that came up with the nutritionist, that Gabe’s milk sugar intolerance could be rooted in his sensory ‘quirks’, like they go hand in hand. I mean, he’s not always having melt downs or anything, but there are still quirks (freaks out if his hands are sticky/dirty… if not on purpose, like when eating or if he falls).

What does being born by c/s have to do with allergies? I’ve never heard that one before. My brother and I were both c/s babies because my mom lost my sister (cord wrapped around her neck and she was stillborn).
