WILD WAVES

Kev and I really had a fantabulous day at Wild Waves Waterpark. I am a planner and like to have things organized so everything will go smooth as clock work. TICKETS We high tailed it to Safeway and bought or tickets in advance. This will save us time by breezing by the ticket booth. I always feel sorry for the poor souls at the park who have to wait in the cattle line to get tickets. You should have seen me grinning while I was sliding down the Bob Sled slide tube and knowing those poor people were waiting in the heat for their tickets. FOOD We stopped off at Quiznos for sub sandwiches (1) Beef Eater and (1) Classic Italian hold the onions and tomatoes to go please! BEVERAGE supply consisted of a bag full of ice smothered over our beloved Gateraid and Vanilla-Cherry Fruitopea which were placed in our handy dandy cooler for two. I refuse to pay the outlandish prices for beverages sold at the park and I really doubt there will be anything healthy to drink. I have decided little Kev is getting way to plump and he is no longer allowed to drink soda pop anymore. Wasted Calories!!!!!! I have been teaching him about nutrition, apparently, they don’t teach this in school anymore. You know the four food groups!

Anyways, The trip from Mystic Bay to the Water Park is about 30 minutes and is all I-5 North. I had the excitement of a 10 year old letting loose and acting Kev’s age. Did I tell you how much I love the Water Park? I wanted to make it there in record time to beat the swarms of people who will end up ahead of me in the lines for the major attractions. Nope, it was someone’s poor day to get into a car accident on the freeway which had slowed all lanes to a snails pace. Damn!

I was now officially off my schedule. Instead of being at the park before 12:00pm it turned out to be 2:oopm. I quickly calculated that we still had seven hours of fun before closing time. I was determined to not let this misfortune hamper our fantabulous day. I paid the seven dollars to park. the snootie parking lady told us we were not allowed to bring in any food or beverages into the park. “What the fuck!!! The whole day was caving in all around me “miss event organizer” She did haphazardly mention water in a sealed container was allowed. “Joy Joy” I asked why this very important information is not listed on the website. I didn’t get a response. After paying all the money to park, you would think we could have parked in close proximity. NO, we parked in the back 40 lot. I tried to think positive, well at least we will have cold drinks and wilted sandwiches for the ride home “we’ll work up quite the appetite” This day is going from bad to worse!

I gave a peep show to a group of 15 year old pubescent boys. “What you never seen a pair of tits before” Their eyes were as big as saucers!!

I went on all the speed slides and got a good douching you know where!!!

We also went on all the amusement rides. You cant help but love those roller coasters that turn upside down, the big giant slide, bumper car racing, water coaster, The sign for this ride warns you that you might get wet. Correction! The sign should read “YOU WILL GET DRENCHED!”

We closed the park down and heading back to Mystic Bay. Finally, we could eat our nice picnic lunch and drink warm juice.

A week later I’m still telling people about my Fantabulous time I had. Your never to old to hang upside down and yell “whoopie” all the way down the GAINT SLIDE. So there!

What a fun day! and mmmm….Quiznos…I had it for the first time while visiting my buddies in Seattle. Those subs kick so much ass. I’d kill for one right now. Fresh sandwich meat that hasn’t had to be frozen and thawed out. Veggies. Soft bread… *shakes head* Sorry, got distracted. 🙂
