TWO’S COMPANY

Thank God it’s Friday and yes I do capitalize God! Rushed home from work-why is it that when you have to be home right after work your boss wants you to stay an extra hour after to cover a wing while the caregivers or in a monthly meeting? Grrr-but then I think about time and a half so it does make it more bearable. Any ways, I rushed to the bank to get some money, still don’t trust my debit card the money should clear after midnight–you would think so? I got $500.00 cash to cover my haircut (reverse foil) and some shopping at Ann Taylor Loft-there is a sweater sale!! Oh, and must have one of those multi colored vintage coats-! Rushed through Fred Meyer to get dinner fixings–wasn’t I there yesterday doing the same thing? You would think it would be wise to allocate one day of the week to get your dinner stuff–but no my appetite dictates to me what I’m desiring at the moment. Why don’t I just get one of the big herky shopping carts instead of the little plastic hand baskets–you would think loading jars of sauce, litters of coke, bunch of bananas, and this in that and more of that would teach me to use a cart–but no, I don’t learn my lessons well. Rushed home to lug all the plastic bags which are all twisted around my wrist causing much pain but I bear it- You would think using paper bags would be easier.

Don cooking attire-my ten year old fuzzy worn out paisley robe-you would think I would wrap myself in my luxurious Barefoot robe, one of Oprah’s favorite things, but no I have reverted back to the old robe don’t ask me why It just does’t make since.

Running around the house looking for a pot to boil long noodles, but no the pot has miraculously disappeared, Humm BB and his boys are catching I mean shooting ducks in Moses Lake-the annual hunting trip for the weekend @#%!! Blaming them for taking one of the good cooking pots. Wondering how to boil noodles without a big pot??? Good thing I remembered the pot was outside – me being too lazy to clean out the day old chilli and feed it to the dogs who were more than happy to accomplish the task. Please tell me I’m not the only one in the world that does such a thing?

Cleaning the pot-really REALLY good. I have company coming over for my special dinner:

MEAT LOVERS SPAGHETTI

  • Hamburger
  • Italian Sausage
  • Kabassa sausage
  • Tillamook Sour cream
  • Tillamook cheese
  • Noddles
  • Classico Triple Mushrooms

Layer it all and cook for 40 minutes a t350

*Best not to substitute for lite

a few calories and fat won’t hurt

TO DIE FOR!

Rushed around the house setting the mood for my overnight special guest. Lighting the Target Pumpkin pie candle on the island in the kitchen, pour Hershey chocolate kisses in fall colored wrappings in a pretty crystal dish, chill the coke for Black velvet, set fresh towels in the bathroom, make sure there is toilet paper, special soaps, good shampoo and conditioner, pull back the covers on the guest bed, light a black berry candle, rushing through the Godzillon Sirus music channels and selecting CLASSIC REWIND.

Wondering what else to do??

Just in time Baby sis just pulled up!!

My dog would eat out of the bowl if I let him, he would sleep on the bed if he wasn’t too old to get up there.

MY GAWD girl…….With the way you were running around and preparing the extra special guest bed….and the choco kisses…You would have thought you were entertaining a MAN. Ha…..but, never mind…..baby sis is MUCHO better! LOL

yup, psp 9! i downloaded the free trial and I’ve been playing around with it today. fun stuff!

will have to tell you the “cold water” joke sometime about washing dishes. Supper sounds good and I thought you were supposed to let the dogs preclean you pans. (or the cats)

All this for baby sis? You are a sibling I so desired my Ds to be to one another. They are married now…with kids…and they still get on the phone and argue about stealing clothes & gossip about which one has gained (or lost) the most weight. Then those who can 3-way call me & dub me judge & advocate between them all. I thought this would end when they grew up. *So when do they grow up?*

I tell myself I can bear another hour of work for that time-&-a-1/2. Invariably however, I seem to get caught up in either a code or a leaking IV & my “extra” time never seems peaceful. Your dinner menu: sounds yummy! But the hair cut? What is a reverse foil? I’m one of those types who whacks at the bangs q-monthly & calls it a “cut”. *cheap cut. I know. But one learns such techniques with 7 Ds*

Leaving you a HUG today! 🙂

sounds like a fun day and night. i love spaghetti!

thanks for the compliment!

We also put our pot/pans of left-over food out for the dogs. *hangs head* It’s so much simpler and Buddy does a fine job cleaning them out before I put them in the dishwasher (or handwash). Heh. Recipe sounds delicious.
