RELAXING

Oh how I wish that life was one big camping trip. We had such a relaxing time at Penrose State Park. I got really carried away before the trip and only went to target to buy some pots and pans for our trailer. Yeah right! I have this ability to buy everything at Target except for what I went to the store to get. I made the mistake of walking by the picnic stuff. Target has a slew of designers who have this ability to entice people like me. The line of picnic merchandising this season is just spectacular. There is an array of bright, geometric and funky styles. I hit the aisle throwing coordinating plates, cups, flat ware, napkins, candles, outdoor lights, plastic ice cubes, beverage buckets, table cloth, and even a doggie dish! It almost reminds me of a 60’s and 70’s flash back in design. My design style was the Purple and Green pok a dots -oh so groovy! Maybe this is why the marketing department is targeting people who are my age. Of course you have to buy everything because the line will be discontinued after this season.

I was so proud of my beautiful and colorful camp site. I was just too styling for all the hill billy campers. I even played the retro radio station to add to the ambience. I was kicking back near the campfire drinking wine from my pok a dot wine glass and listening to shake your grove thing. I was in my element!

Returning to the real world, was not an easy transition. On my first day back to work one of my patients died in my arms. He had a massive heart attack. He was a “no code.” If that wasn’t enough trauma, I have been fighting with this stupid claims guy from a back east auto insurance company about the repair work done on my car. I decided this guy was playing way to many legal games with me so I treked over to the “Emerald City” to pay a friendly visit with my BnL who just happens to be a personal injury lawyer. He knows how to deal with ruthless people. The insurance company is trying to place the blame of the accident on me. They are little late placing liability on me now because I had received paperwork that stated it was ok to repair the car two weeks ago. Mystic Bay Auto Body was nice enough to let me have the car back but they are now holding my credit card number hostage. If all of this isn’t bad enough, I spilled coffee on my new keyboard today. I just bought it last week because I spilled coffee on my original keyboard. note to self: No more coffee at my desk

I need a stress reliever! Ok lets unpack all my groovy picnic stuff and make camp in the back yard.

Hey I have a tent, can I come join you? *laughs* I know for a fact that I could never handle someone dying in my arms. This is why I work with books.

Glad you had a good camping trip – what an awful way to return to work, though.
