SELF ESTEEM DEPARTMENT

So I splurged a little today and had the luxury of having my hairs done up all nice and pretty. I went to Gene Juarez Salon, top notch in my neck of the woods. I wanted to have the best Gawd knows I needed it in order to feel good about myself. I was sliding into a slippery slope in my self esteem department. Love my stylist, a cute Asian guy with a perfectionist mind. He made me look like Marilyn Monroe, I promptly washed my hairs when I got home. Yeah I know what the heck I’m doing washing my hair after I just got all glammed up. If you read me regularly you know I’m no city slicker and prefer the natural look. I didn’t have it in me to tell the cute Asian dude that the movie star look just isn’t my thing.

MEMENTO

I’m slowly starting to pack up my stuff. My stuff consist of things I just had to have and keep forever, like pretty boxes, pictures, letters, Malibu Barbie doll, trinkets from my adventures in Europe Mementos of the past. Things I just can’t bare to toss away. It would be like tossing away part of my heart. For instance, My scrapbook of Shaun Csssidy, I was supposed to marry him and all that..can’t throw this type of memory away or sale them on Craig’s list.

ACCEPTANCE TRUSTING IN THE GREAT SPIRIT

I’m ready to go, I’m ready to leave my job, I’m ready to walk into a new phase of my life. I’m scared, and will need to be pushed a bit, get my feet wet if I may, I’m ready I’m ready I’m ready. Need to say this over and over again..I’m ready.

JOB FRONT

It’s a good time to leave my job behind. Things are very hectic at work, the new–well third times the charm for our Health Services director, She has quit twice before, and let me tell you the third time isn’t the charm for her. She is a good person and all that but she likes to micro manage. Everyone is becoming frustrated including me.

I have been checking out jobs online in the Issaquah area of Washington, about 20 minutes from our cabin, I would have to drive up and down the mountain pass. There are several memory care facilities that I could apply for and hopefully secure. I haven’t applied yet, just checking out the facilities online. It would be nice to cash in my vacation hours and live on the money for a couple of months so I could REGROUP MYSLEF before I start a new job.

HUSBAND

We are planning on venturing up to our cabin this weekend. It’s been way too long since I have been there. My husband has been busy making our cabin live able, He is planning to install our shower and hot water tank. he is also thinking about building a little shack for a washer and dryer. He is also making a Tepee, while he was playing house husband, he took the boys (dogs) for walks and collected fir trees, he used his– as he says “Tomahawk ax to cut down the trees and then used his drawing knife to de bark. These fir poles are 24 feet in length. Right now the tepee is put up in our backyard. I can just imagine what our neighbors are thinking.

We are trying to come up with some cash for the canvas. We need $745.00. Don’t know how we’ll find the money, no extra coinage to scrounge for lately, since husband robbed the piggy bank.

We plan on taking the Tepee to Humptulips and place it along side the banks of the river up on a ledge. Perfect place to make camp. Listening to the river, star gazing, the sky is our limit to the enjoyment we will have with our tepee. It will sleep 5 adults and 2 dogs, or 2 adults and 10 little kids and two big dogs.
