Chit-Chat Saturday
I spent hours trying to put this playlist together. I have a forty five minute commute to Issaquah and back. So I spend a lot of time in my car. I recently bought a brand spank’n new Ford Escape top of the line. I was sold on the car when the dealer told me it has heated seats!–SWEET– I have always wanted a car that would warm up my buns and living here on top of the mountain you can just imagine how cold the car can be inside. We still have 8 feet of snow.–slowly melting now. Anyways-
It is usually an easy commute but once again the other day a huge HUGE semi truck ran me off the road. This has happened to me a few times. I’m really lucky to be alive. I have a feeling God has placed an angel in the car with me for protection. I really do believe in angels! My sister had to commute from Humptulips to Seattle and she got ran off the road twice and caused her to wreck inflicting serious back injuries. I’m happy that she was able to get the trucker’s plate nubmers and sue the hell out the trucking company. The driver of the truck was high on Meth!!
Now I got to buy all these songs, add them to my ipod and make a cd.
Happy Saturday to all my bookmarkers!
Wow! That is sooo scary about being run off the road. I’ve never had that happen and know I’d probably do the exact wrong thing if it did and end up dead. ryn: Yes, it does pay quite well for an LPN job but I’m doing it more for the experience than anything else. I will be dealing with all kinds of nursing care at any given time – from trauma to drug and alcohol detox to routine medicalcare to obstetrics to chronic disease management and more. I really want to get as much (and as broad) experience as I can because I want to move out of state when my son finishes high school and I need to be more marketable. I kind of pigeon holed myself with going into ambulatory surgery so soon after becoming a nurse. I haven’t had the chance to develop a lot of my nursing skills.

I believe in angels too. A psychic told me I have 8 guardian angels and one is always sitting next to me in the car when I drive. I bet you have one too! Be careful anyway.

ryn: I haven’t started yet. I start on June 1st. Don’t worry! I’m sure I’ll have lots of stories to write about! 🙂

RYN: Birth control pills can help regulate your hormones, but I still had hot flashes with them. I tried an estrogen cooling gel called Divigel that I had to get by prescription. That worked for a few days then stopped working. I have tried flaxseed oil, black cohosh and evening primrose oil. They didn’t help. This Me Again Cooling Gel is the only thing that’s ever stopped a hot flash in progress!

ryn: Crazy doesn’t even begin to cover it. I realized that this company puts money above all else and they basically suckered every one of us. I only sent the email to the DON to document that management was made aware of SB’s incompetence. So when she kills someone, they can’t say they weren’t aware of the situation.
