Friday night: in route

I’m currently in the back of the truck writing out this entry. I have become accustomed to taking over the entire back seat with all my must have items: Ipod, headphones, blanket, pillow, books, reading glasses sss- I have several pairs, bag of Gardetto’s Italian recipe, bottled water, notebook and pens.

I’m all snuggled in the back listening to the satellite girls—thank you domino for suggesting this podcast. I have five sisters so I can really relate to their show. It would be fun for all my sisters to get together and have our own podcast—live from the great northwest.

{Waiting for the first SNOW}

I’m excited about trying new things this winter. One of the newest winter sports –Skate-skiing. It’s a form of cross country skiing, skate skiing uses similar technique as roller balding and ice-skating, the main difference being that in skate skiing poles are used and it’s done on SNOW. The Snoqualmie Nordic club has organized beginning classes this winter. I’m looking forward to getting more involved and trying new things because if you’re not learning you’re dying.

Sat morn

My first attempt to steal internet was nerve racking—it would have helped matters if I would have hit the wireless button to begin with—you’d think. So after about 20 minutes trying to figure out how to connect grand pa pa realized the button wasn’t on. He was losing his patience with me. We parked right next to the Cheveron gas station and I was already to post my Saturday entry when ….the screen went black. MY BATTERY DIED!

I guess it just wasn’t meant to be, you can’t say I didn’t ry to post
