missed yesterday

i had all intentions of writing yesterday.  i came home from a night out with my coworker, her husband, and his friend.  we went to see another coworker play at a local hole in the wall bar.  i love those types of bars 🙂  anyway, before leaving to go meet my coworker at her house, i wanted a lollipop.  dumdums are only like 20 cal each or something so i ripped open the bag and searched for a strawberry one.  then, as i was taking the wrapper off the lollipop, i remembered that new guy’s favorite picture of me is one where i’m eating a lollipop.  its a hot picture, even i will admit that, and i normally don’t think i photograph well.  soooo…i took a pic with my phone and sent it to him.  i knew he would be playing his gig for another 45 min so i just went about my evening.  a little while later, he sent me a message saying i was evil and there was no way he could come to my house right now cause he had been drinking.  he told me that pic "did things" for him.  i said i knew it would and that he should come out and hear my coworker play.  he said he might.  THEN i remembered that my house was a disaster!!  i was all worried about it and i told carol (my coworker) that he can’t come out cause the house was a disaster!  she was like, well, we will rush back to your place and you can throw everything in the closet and drawers before he gets there.  thankfully, he sent me a message that he had drank too much to drive all the way to my place and couldn’t make it out.  whew!  disaster averted 🙂  carol and i listened to one set from our coworker, started to yawn and went home.

when i got home, i got on facebook and new guy had posted a link–it was a clip of jimmy fallon impersonating neil young with bruce springsteen (sp?) joining in.  which carol and i had JUST talked about at the bar!  so i commented on the link and told him that.  he wrote back and asked if i was home already.  i said yes, we are old and couldn’t hang.  so, he texted me and asked me to bring him wine.  i told him i had been drinking a bit too and i had to sober up and actually go buy wine if i were to do that. he was cool with that. and i did want to see him since it had been a while since we hung out.  so, i waited a bit, put some comfy clothes on and headed out.  i’m really glad i did.  we had a great night drinking wine and watching some shows on hulu.  when we went to bed (i spent the night since i had more to drink), he snuggled up behind me and it was soooooo nice.  we normally don’t do that when we have sleepovers.  of course, the sex was awesome as well 🙂  we always have great sex.  he had to get up somewhat early but he told me to stay as long as i liked.  i stayed another few hours, got some more rest and went home and slept more on and off throughout the day lol 🙂  it was a great night!  and that is why i didn’t write yesterday.
