“mystery man” strikes again

I know who it was. I thanked him, this time. (I never mentioned anything about the flowers.) He was surprised I knew it was him who was sending me these things.

Is it bad that I have no interest in someone so thoughtful and kind? I know he’s not doing this as a show – we were good friends at one point and this is who he really is, even when he’s already "got the girl".

And, in the mean time, I’m spending all my time and energy trying to make things work with someone who doesn’t seem to care about me as much as I care about him.

Our minds and hearts just don’t agree sometimes.
