Holy fucking cold, batman!!

Seriously!? Why is it -14. Why is it SO FRIGGEN COLD!?

Our water pipes froze. Every single one of them in our house froze. Grrrreeeeat.

So, yesterday, Josh crawled into the crawl space to put a radiator heater down there in an attempt to get some heat on the pipes. We had it running for 18 hours and nada!

So, we called the nearest rental place and rented a big salamander heater and Josh hauled that down into the crawl space. It heated up the pipes within 30 minutes. Down side? It ran on kerosene. Good thing I was at work and the kids were at daycare! We had some major fumes going on for a couple hours. But we do have water back, thank goodness.

And, wouldn’t you know it, that beautiful golden retriever who belongs to the house directly behind me, who is primarily an outside dog, who they never bring in, has been outside these past few days in this horrid weather. I cannot believe they wouldn’t bring her in during these weather conditions!

So, what did I do?

Hah…

My neighbors will probably never speak to me. And will probably never let their (annoying) kids come over to play after this…

But an officer from work is over there speaking to them at this very moment. I saw them bring the dog inside shortly after Brenda arrived. They have a huuuge house. Twice the size of mine. There’s no reason why they can’t bring in their ONE dog. When I have my TWO inside the house aside for their potty breaks.

People.. I swear…

I am going to take a much, much needed shower. And I really should be getting caught up on the laundry that I’m behind on folding… but I’m way too tired. We’ve been finishing patching up that wall we tore down the paneling from. Along with getting the water pipes to work again. And yada yada yada…
