So, I’m going to go all scrooge on ya’ll and say I’m totally ready for the holidays to be over with. This deployment hasn’t been that difficult for me up until recently. I don’t know if it’s because I have so much time on my hands, or if it’s because of the holidays, or if it’s because I’m starting to actually miss Josh (where as before, I was either angry or numb…) or what… but things pretty much suck right now. I’m sure my screwed up hormones don’t help much, either.

Please hurry January. It’ll be a new year, the boys will be home, I go back to work and I’ll be back to being so busy and exhausted that I can’t think straight. I always do better emotionally when I’m too busy to get stuck inside my head for long periods of time.

Josh’s mom, sister and I baked about 10 dozen cookies to mail to Josh yesterday. I bought him a 2 qt. crock pot, a book and a DVD. I’m also sending him yummy items to make in his ‘lil slow cooker and other misc. things he needs. Right now I have 3 boxes filled up (and one is about twice the size of the standard box I send). I may need to send a fourth. I’m waiting on a couple of things to get here from Amazon, and then I’ll be makin’ my trip to the post office. He should be getting his lil Christmas Tree soon. And then he’ll have lil presents to go with his tree. 

I’m starting 30 day shred today. I weighed in at 151.8. Ewww. My first goal is 130 by March. And then we’ll go from there… 
* So, I only got through about 80% of the workout. Mason woke up when I got to the abs part. But oh boy, was that an intense workout! Probably not the best idea to start it when I’m sick and having breathing issues already. LOL But I’ll keep on truckin’ through it. I’ll just have to start it tomorrow when I know Mason is down for his long morning nap.
