baby shower & other randoms
- I was totally & completely surprised with a baby shower/potluck at work today.
I had absolutely no idea, and I really didn’t expect it. But we had lots of awesome food and I got wonderful gifts and shopping money for the wee one. - I’ve been feeling a little icky the last day. We’ve all had colds, but I’m feeling nausiated and my tummy is upset. I was tossing and turning a bit last night from it, and I’ve started again this afternoon.
- Xavier went poopy on the potty all by himself this afternoon. I didn’t initiate it. And he was so proud when he showed me. =D
- George just landed in Chicago and will be here in about an hour. The boys will be thrilled to spend the weekend with him.
- I think we’re going to visit the apple orchard tomorrow.
- And I’m definetly going to do some baby shopping since I’ll have some kid-free time to use.
- George wants Indian food for dinner, so my tummy better shape up. I could go for some butter chicken right now. It’s been a while!
- Two days off. Yay. I’m tired and need the re-coup.
- I conditioned my leather couches with lotion yesterday and they look AWESOME. They were getting so dry and cracked. The lotion totally brought them back to life.
- Nothing too exciting otherwise…
- Oh. I think we’re changing Mason’s middle name? Josh wants to use my familys’ maiden name (Clark), and with the failing health of my grandmother and the meaning behind it, I think I’m going to do it. I liked Mason Alan (Alan being Josh’s middle name) better for a while, but with everything going on with my grandma, I think I’d rather use Mason Clark now. My brothers middle name is Clark, too.
