I’m one of those lucky women who get to go through days of prodromal labor before her body decides to kick it into gear.

TMI:
I had contractions for about 7 hours last night, consistently, 2-3 minutes apart.
And then around 6am this morning I lost my mucous plug and had some bloody show.
The contractions continued on in the morning, and then started to slow down throughout the day.
Boo.

I took several naps. Lazied around. And now I’m starting to contract a bit more.
Had lots more mucous/bloody show in the shower.
And I feel pretty damn nausiated right now. Ew.

Hopefully contractions will pick up again tonight.
I have to keep telling myself that every contraction I have now, is one less I’ll have when I’m in active labor.
And obviously they are doing something, because I wouldn’t be having bloody show if I wasn’t dialating.

So, there’s your update.
I’m too nausiated to sit here any longer, so I’m going to go lay down.
Nighty night.
