alternatickers - cool, free web tickers

  • Yesterday sucked. I couldn’t sleep and woke up at 2:30am. I managed to make it through the day and it was looking like there was a good chance I’d be able to get to bed at a decent time, until I realised half my house was out of power.
  • After 3 men came over and played with my breakers, I called ComEd and they came out around 9:30pm and was able to fix it. Turns out, when the cable company installed last year, they grounded the wires to my meter box and knocked the meter loose. It came completely off and caused half my power to blow. They fixed it.
  • Today was a fairly easy day at work considering it was a day where we were one person short.
  • Josh called a couple times this afternoon. He sounded really homesick. Was worried that the boys don’t miss him. Mentioned to me that he wants to plan a vacation for when he comes home. And asked me for more pictures. He dismantled the last carepackage I sent him, which was painted inside by the boys, and hung it above his bed. <3 He said he put up all our pictures on it. I’m starting to get a little more comfortable, but I definetly still have my moments. However, I’ve learned that not acting in the moment of my emotional tantrum and just letting it pass does a great deal of good. I’ve just been sitting back and watching Josh and his actions. Can’t complain, so far.
  • It’s almost been 3 months since he’s left. It seems so long, yet so short. So much has happened in that time.
  • 15 days until my last day of work and the boys leave.
  • I have to remember to eat dinner tonight. I forgot last night and felt really crappy this morning as a result.
  • I have court tomorrow. All of this crap with George should finally be over and done with. I can’t believe the judge has jacked me around so much with getting this divorce finalized. It’s been all on the judge. George & I have had everything sorted out since January of ’08.
  • I’M HAVING A BABY THIS MONTH!
  • My boobs are starting to tingle. You know, that tingling when your milk lets down. Hehe. Another nursling.  I’m so excited.
  • I’m going to watch Grey’s.

I was trying to explain today to a friend who has no children and is anti bfing just how amazing it is to nurse your child. She didn’t get it at all.
