Upon This Tree (a poem)

I see you there in your cage

And I’m here waiting for you to let go your shame

Holding back doesn’t do anything

Just creates nothing but pain

What you thought of was nothing but lies

Deception came close to taking your life

Sheltered and confused, don’t let isolation lose what you thought was truth

My hand isn’t out of reach

My world is all you need

Upon this tree your tears are kept

Upon this tree your sins are swept

Upon this tree is nothing, but freedom from your past

So I had posted this like last week or something, but I added a few lines. So I deleted my old post and put this one up.
