Inside my heart

A darkness dwelt

Like a sheer black curtain

Invisibly felt

My tears were streaming down

My cheeks drowned in rain

The sky turning dark

Couldn’t handle the pain

Leaned over the ridge

Look down to the sea

And wondered if anyone

Truly loved me

The wind was a thin whisper

I inhaled the sea breeze

I looked to the heavens

And begged, "Help me please"

The tears dropped down

To the ocean below

My love was invisible

As sugar in snow
