La Vita è Bella 2
I am back home from Italy, and I had the time of my life. And I am so happy to tell that. Because at the beginning of this vacation, I was very scared and I was sure that it would suck the entire vacation. I went with a whole group of people my age, it’s an organization that goes on a vacation with young adults and I went with three friends but the rest of the group I had never seen before in my life. We were with 73 in total inclusive the monitors, so you can imagine that makes it even harder to get to know people quickly. In order I got really afraid and I closed up, put my walls up and only talked to my friends the first two days. And later, I came to realize that I was there to have the time of my life, and to make new friends. And so I did. I tried my very best to get to know everyone a little, and the people I liked were the people I hung out with most. And really, I created some friends I could hang out with everyday and still wouldn’t get tired of. In the end, we were the best group ever, and I will NEVER forget this vacation. It has taught me a lot about life, (I don’t care if that sounds ridiculous) and it has brought me some unforgettable memories. EXACTLY what I wanted. I even overcame my fear for rollercoasters! I did the NR. 1 speed rollercoaster of Europe! And a funny detail, the last night, we had a party to close off the vacation, and the very last song they played was "Time Of Your Life" from Green Day. Now Green Day happens to be my favourite band too, so it couldn’t be more perfect to me 🙂 right now I’m more trying to be with friends and family really because I can’t stand being alone in the silence anymore. Italy has helped me blossom, and make me realize even more what I really want.
