Nojomo #2 Letter to younger me

Write a letter to your 14 year old self

Dear younger me,

First of all stay single. You’ll be much happier. If you must have someone, make sure they are worth your time, your money, and most importantly your love. And do NOT give your “goodies” away until you are ready, and if it’s the right man. One who actually wants to make a future with you and not excuses. Right now you’re young, but when you grow into an adult, you’ll understand what all this means. When you get older, make sure you get your drivers license much sooner in life and also make sure to get a college degree while you’re still young. When you are older, and life has punched you in the face, you’ll feel irritated at the amount of school work you’ll have to to, especially if you’re working too, and in a relationship. Also, when it comes to men, do NOT let them run over you, try to control you, or make you feel like  you have to take care of them for them to be happy.  If he cannot fully commit, leave his ass. If he cheats, or gives the appearance of such, leave. No one is worth heartache or driving yourself crazy. You deserve to be happy, and you deserve someone who knows how to be in a loving relationship. The newness fades off in any relationship, but the love and efforts should never drop off like that. It messes with your emotions when you think it’s failing, especially when you stop communicating. Also, going back to the school thing….pick business administration. It’ll be hard, but when you’re done you’ll have plenty of years to take advantage of having that degree. you can go to college at any age, but I think it’s a bit easier when you’re young. Right now I work, go to school, and deal with a big ass baby/man so yeah it’s hard lol. When you do start working, try not to let your mouth get you in trouble, I can be sassy when i’m pissed or irritated lol. Also, don’t trust anybody you work with, most of the folks you encounter are two faced. If you can find someone trust worthy, that’s great, but always keep your trust circle small.

With all that being said, be who you are, and don’t let anyone try to change that. I could say so much more, but I can save that for another letter. I’d end up writing a book, but this should get ya started.

Take care,

Love, me
