Another job opportunity

So that other place I applied to, the one where I sat down and did their virtual job assessment, reached out to me. I said if I hadn’t heard from them by today, I’d try the grocery store I used to work at. So to get this email when I did was indeed a blessing. I made it past the virtual assessment, and now they want to do a phone interview with me. They provided a link where I signed in and picked a day and time. I chose Wednesday afternoon. This would give me time to get my mindset right, research more about the company, and of course research interview questions so I can give my best replies. Most interviews anymore have situational questions. I pray that this time works out for me, but we’ll see. This opportunity is welcomed, it’s good news. I do hope and pray that I get a F2F interview and ultimately get the job, but at least someone else let me get this far, ya know. This one is only about 15 mins, which most phone interviews are, but I will make sure I am prepared. I got past the phone interview with my old job, but that didn’t work out. The other place gave me a instant no. This place is giving me a chance, and I can be grateful for that. If I can avoid the grocery store, great. This job pays well, so I pray I get it. I need good news for once.
