Rambling On

Dear Diary,

The month is almost over and the house is still not finished. Fortunately, staying with auntie is wonderful and we will miss each other and our daily rituals that have evolved in the past 2 and a half weeks when we do move back home.

Much, much saddness and heart ache with the passing of our dear sweet friend and travel partner, Tom. I know in my heart that he is now “foot loose and pain free”. After the service on Monday night, hubby said he didn’t expect to have to do this for at least 10 more years. I kept praying for a complete recovery.  I am still angry that I wasn’t called when he went to the hospital on Monday afternoon, that he was alone 3 nights ( the nieces didn’t think he needed anyone to stay with him), that he was found on the floor early Thursday morning and rushed to ICU, that “his wishes were to be cremated” so I had no opportunity to see him for my own closure, that he is no longer part of my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J. will be home from Thailand on Monday. Talked with Lisa Honey last night and her trip to Hawaii was wonderful.

They are to install the laminate flooring on Monday and then the carpet. The stupid painter MUST finish this weekend. I will move things around again tonight and Saturday in preparation for Monday.  I will arrive on Sunday with paint brush in hand to complete whatever needs to be done. I’ll sue the crap out of him if he messes the new tile.

Computer is disconnected at home but hopefully will be back on this weekend. The new office is one of the first rooms completed and the new phone line will be done today.

Lots of things going on.  I’m just…

…rambling on.
