Royally bored!

It might be unpatriotic of me but I don’t give a stuff! I am so bored of hearing about the bleeding royals. Yes the Queen has been on the throne for 60 years – whoop de woo – who cares? (well most of the country it seems) Well it makes not a jot of difference to me. I am anti monarchy – I don’t see why we should bow and scrape to people just because they were born into a certain family. It is so undemocratic. What have they ACTUALLY done? I feel like most of the people in our country have been brainwashed into thinking that these people are somehow superior to the rest of the world. Hello, they are just people, they are no better and no worse than anyone else. Sorry if this offends anyone – just my opinion. Rant over!

Ok moving on…..

I have been off work this week (holiday) which has been really nice. Could get used to this lol. Nah I know I would be bored quite quickly if I was at home the whole time. The sun came out for my week off again – yay – last time it was this sunny was when I had a week off in March!

I was really tired yesterday though – had a late night the night before because a friend came round. Chris S was the best man at our wedding but we haven’t seen him for years so I contacted him on Facebook and he came over and we had a good catch up. I forgot yesterday that I had agreed to go swimming with my mother in law.  She appeared to collect me at 7pm so I got organised and went to the baths The guy on reception said "You do know you only have til 8pm?" This was 7.30pm at that stage but we thought oh well half and hour is better than none. We did some lengths and at about 7.50pm I noticed loads of women getting in the pool and a sound system being set up. I whispered to mother in law "Shall we stay in the pool and see if we can sneakily join in whatever is going on?" A bit naughty I know but we did it. It was a full on Aquafit class. It was so funny – we were in fits. It was really good fun though and I felt like I had a good work out. We both loved it. So we are going to try to sign up and go regularly.

Back to work tomorrow night  -boo – not off again until August – but hey ho never mind.

Not much else to report. My kids have been making me laugh again but will need to get everything they say into another entry at some point.  OH yes! I won the Euromillions!!! HA well I got 3 numbers and won £11  – better than nothing. Lauren also won a Jake and the Neverland Pirates prize which consists of …A beach towel, sun cream, a bowl and an art set. All good. They say things come in threes so wonder if we will win anything else??
