Drama at the park
Went to the park today ith Janine and her kids. Lauren was at my mum’s so I just had the boys. Janine went to buy yoghurts while I watched the kids. Well this small girl was up really high on a kind of climbing frame. She was chatting to my boys saying "look at this" and twirling around. Next thing she kind of flips over and falls straight off onto the ground!!!! Ouch!! Cue tears and a concerned mother running over. I explained what happened and the girl seemed ok if a little shaken. They left the park quite rapidly after that. The boys wanted me to play monster tag with them. This basically consists of me being a monster and chasing them all around the park. This was fine for awhile until Liam and Joe collided resulting in Liam’s nose pouring with blood. Whilst I was cleaning him up Janine’s daughter, Kiara (aged 2) managed to get herself covered in mud – eek. Drama in the park!!!
I went to the shops and was drawing some cash out of the cashpoint – there was a guy in front of me using the cash machine. He was takling AGES!!! AGES!! Anyway eventually he finished and started walking off. I went to the machine and it had this message "Do you wish to carry out another transaction?" I pressed no and out came the bloke’s cash card! I called him back and gave him his card but he didn’t say thank you or anything. Ignorant swine!! Never mind – I imagine he must have been quite preoccupied in order to forget his card in the first place.
My budgeting is going ok. I spent £20.58 yesterday but that includes paying £10 towards Chris taking the kids to the cinema. Today I have spent £6.75 so far. Chris has just come home though and we need to go get some food in Sainsburys cos we don’t really have anything in for tea so that will push the budget out the window a bit. I am definitely being more mindful of what I buy though which is good. Will monitor it all week and see how it turns out.
It is forecast to rain on Monday which is a nightmare cos I really wanna do this car boot sale – from a financial and a clearing the house perspective.GRRRRRRRR Please pray for sun on Monday!!!!!!
It’s early morning here and am havin simple breakfast! Now, sit back, drink a cup of coffee, watching my sleeping Daddy & reading OD’s diaries! I am tired, yes, but the least I have time to read all of my friend’s entries – need to distract my mind. Thank u for your previous notes and I wish you have a lovely weekend too! Do take care & see ya later here … *HUGS*
