Pregnancy Observation #1

So far, being pregnant is like having a constant hangover that I can’t do anything about. I haven’t been sick yet, but like I told the doctor, I’d rather walk over hot coals than puke, so there’s been a whole lot of gagging. I’ve had a headache for a week – actually I took 2 sick days last week becasue of it – before I knew what was going on. It travels from one temple to the other throughout the day. Could be worse – could be both sides at once.

I’m really nervous, but trying to be positive. I’m so scared to get too excited incase something happens. There is no reason to think that this will not be a successful pregnancy, but I still can’t help but think it every time I pee and look for signs that it’s not going to continue. I need to stop that.

Rob’s been amazing! It’s like a switch went off and he’s turned into Mr. Family man. It’s great. He warned me he’s going to be overprotective of me for the next 9 months. Can’t say that it bothers me much – it’s nice to be looked after!

I’ve got a pile of work to get through today – 3 days away from the office last week was a bit much – I’m a little over my head, plus pre-occupied!
