Very tired and prickly feeling. It will be hard to stay focused

Yet again, she enters the cave. Tonight she finds nothing remarkable in the entry room and so proceeds on her journey down through the pathways. Soon she fineds herself at an exit door. Through it she goes and finds herslf on a beachy riverbank. She is colorfully dressed – a bright turquoise blouse and an ankle length skirt with bands of colorful braid adorning it. She sits with her “tools” arrayed before her.

She picks up the bowl. It is small, with very thick sides on it which makes the quantity that can be held in the small bowl even less.

“What is this bowl?” she asks.

And the answer comes to her. This is a container for your love. The thick walls symbolize the shell you have built around yourself. The bowl cannot be emptied. She tried to pour out the contents – and found this was true. Each time the bowl was emptied, it refilled immediately.

“There is no limit to the amount of love you have to give.”

She picked up a sharpened stick – a crude arrow. Words filled her mind.

“Be direct and true.”

Her attention turned to a nearby stone. It was a weapon – or was it a tool? A tool to be used to bring down barriers and obstacles – to smash things against – much as a seagull or an otter use tools to break open shellfish and get to the meat. Here was a tool to help her get “to the meat”.

Finally there was a pipe. When she picked it up, she realized it was a bamboo pole – a conduit for her love.

She silently gathered all the items into herself and swiftly departed back the way she came.

Unlimited love to give, but massive walls keep love from entering. That’s what a few bitter experiences do to some of us. Am still a trusting soul and happy
