Quick Note On the Wonders of FOD

To all my OD+ friends…while I can still READ your entries, I can no longer sign in as an FOD user of OD+…so I cannot NOTE your entries. I have e-mailed and requested resolution of this from the diary master. We’ll see how that goes!

It is QUITE annoying and inconvenient! Poopie poopie poop!

I had an entry simmering last night….but I couldn’t access FOD at all…….and I allowed myself to get all kinds of pissed off about that…….and didn’t write a thing. Now I can’t remember a thing. Damn all these things!

Agreed! Had the same problem yesterday when FOD was down and I thought I’d wander through the plus side. However I soon discovered, much to my chagrin, I was unable to sign in and note. Didn’t I read something on the main page about faster and more RELIABLE servers? LOL~

Oh, I will. She’s been very good, so far. She has a very nice personality and is showing signs of being reasonable about learning about going pee et cetera outside. She’s very sweet and we’re all very fond of her. With a smile…T, U, as always

The main page says 213,257 diaries. New servers have stopped the blackouts. Adjustments and fixing bugs probably account for current outages. The one yesterday kept me out too. Have never been able to leave notes at POD without signing in. Even that began failing so I quit going there

next time save it in word *nods*

I agree with all of the above. I always type mine in Word and then copy and post them. I wanted to post mine too, but thankfully they were safetly saved. That way I can even post the entries on the day they occurred.

I will set up a reader’s password for you for this diary if you like, but what a pain that will be to have to sign in and out to read everyone. The people in charge around here are … lacking. (I am resolved to be nice.) 🙂

SAME HERE…seems like they fix one situation, and another pops up…DITTO all of the above entries also for me…I don’t know what has happened other than we have 213,582 members…maybe a bit overwhelming to the OD Staff..I just don’ know…sigh…………. Hugs and Smiles,

froglettes been haing the same problem, and I couldn’t get over here yesterday. Must be something to do with the move to the new server. DM has asked us to be patient… patient my arse!

Hey Sunshine! I totally sympathise. Been having the same problems for nearly two weeks now. I can understand and be patient up to a point. But how long is this supposed to go on? RYN: Thanks for the compliments! Just finished the new Harry Potter book early this morning – 2:30 a.m. It’s so good!! I’ve got one of the tapes as well. I agree about the narrator’s voice. *with a big warm hug*

I could give you a readers password too for OD, but you can note me here and at inthewire and that probably keeps you busy enough! LOL I hate it when I can’t post and then can’t remember what I wanted to write in the first place. I usually think of my best stuff when I’m away from the computer! LOL 🙂

…just pasing through… Seems like the only constant is there is always a problem somewhere, if not on FOD, then on OD!

That’s odd, because I’ve had several FODers who have noted me these past few days. Did you go to the main FOD page, click on Open Diary and then type in your diarist’s name in the Jump to a Diary box? If that doesn’t work, just go to http://www.opendiary.com and click on FOD User Login. You should be able to note one way or another!

And now OD is down, just in time to boost my decision whether or not to renew. With a sigh…T, the U

Thank goodness, I thought it was just me bec I haven’t written for so long. Nice to see you Sunshine. Guess what – everytime a friend pisses me off – the first thing that comes into my head is “AND NO GROCERIES FOR YOU” I can’t get it out of my head LOL 🙂

just read DrmDgn’s note… whenever I’m at the supermarket and someone does something stupid “too stupid to shop” is what goes through my head! You’ve infected us all with it *grin*

Write it in the owrd prcessor of the computer and save it to a file. Copy-paste from that. If lost get another copy

Dear Wolfie i hope this problem is now solved. I had same but advised to open my fod diary then go to main page of Fod and click on the od to left, Then you should be able to enter AND to note. I was trying to do it from mail and other ways but the way described seems to work!! And nice to see you again…Alexias
