Pet Survey

I have seen many surveys on the OD (mostly in Harley’s diary….but there are others!), but have never seen one for the animals of the OD. (Calm down Torin….I mean like dogs and cats – no two-legged animals). I know there are many animals present here, even if they don’t always write their own entries. My animals have stolen the keyboard, Dave the Dog’s cat has spoken out and I have seen various notes left by the animals of others. So then here we have it…..the first survey for animals. I have gotten my pets to answer this (they pronounced it a little lame – but their enthusiasm was greatly heightened by a post-entry round of kitty and puppy snacks. I encourage you to allow your own pets free rein with this one!

Swoosh: I have a very delicate stomach. Only Friskies shredder turkey for me.

CARPET, LITTER, or OUTSIDE? Blossom – wherever I am when the urge strikes. I do like it when the cats leave me treats in the litter box though.
Swoosh: Please! CLEAN litter only!
Fubu: Magazines and freshly made beds. They make the best spots for relieving ones self

PEOPLE – GOOD OR BAD?: Blossom: People are GODS
Swoosh: My people serve me well – rather like high priestesses serving the Goddess
Fubu: They’re OK if they’re well disciplined.

INSIDE OR OUTSIDE? Blossom: Yes!
Swoosh: Inside. Did I mention that I am very delicate?
Fubu: I’d like to be outside, but my undisciplined people won’t let me!

GREATEST DESIRE: Blossom: To catch the cats for my momma. They’re the ones that cause all the trouble, you know.
Swoosh: To be worshipped and adored and allowed to sleep peacefully in the sun WITHOUT a dog chasing me!
Fubu: One day I’m gonna let that overgrown bag of wrinkles catch me…..and then I’m gonna whip her ass!

FAVORITE COLOR: Blossom: What’s a color?
Swoosh: Gold, like my eyes

BEST METHOD OF SHOWING AFFECTION: Blossom: Licking! And maybe jumping up & down….Licking!
Swoosh: Purring and nuzzling, leg rubbing
Fubu: A good healthy whack with my claws

FAVORITE METHOD OF RECEIVING AFFECTION: Blossom: Belly rubs, ear scritches & food!
Swoosh: Refined petting so as not to ruffle my fur
Fubu: You just sit still…..I’ll dish out all the affection you need

LOUD OR QUIET? Blossom: Loud! None of those wimpy little squeaky barks for me!
Swoosh: Quiet. A lady does not need volume to make her wishes known – and obeyed
Fubu: Are you writing a book or something?

WHO’S BETTER – DOGS OR CATS? Blossom: Better at what?
Swoosh: Must you ask? It’s obvious
Fubu: Nobody’s tougher than me!

DO YOU LIKE TAKING SURVEYS? Blossom: Yes! (That’s the right answer, right ma???)
Swoosh: This was really beneath me, but I do like to keep the servants happy by indulging their whims occasionally – keeps them pliable
Fubu: It’s necessary – how else will everyone know how cool I am?

I’m off to Tennessee to visit my baby boy (yes, the 20 year old, 6’ tall, well muscled baby boy). “Come With Me” will continue next week. The priestess has much to say. You guys take it easy……and be good to your pets!
