I’ve Never Felt Love Like This Before…

I cannot begin to express just how much in love I am right now.  Neither can I find adequate words to thank my daughter for pushing me out of my comfort zone (or rather – my "dis"comfort zone) and introducing me to this new love.

I feel as if I am walking on air.  Everyone and everything makes me smile.  Life is beautiful once again!  I am amazed at how little it took – at just how ‘easy’ I am….

The new love of my life….

MOCK MY LOVE AT YOUR OWN PERIL!

I have problems standing all day – has a lot to do with the day I dropped an entire jeep CJ7 onto my left leg…  My feet hurt and my left leg feels like so much dead wood at the end of the day.

I have looked at these shoes numerous times…but always elected to pass them by.  After all – they look a little different and IF they didn’t feel good – what was the point in spending the money on them?  But Chickie, in all her glorious wisdom, bought me a pair.  I put them on after standing on my feet all day in OTHER shoes…and my feet and legs began to feel better almost immediately.

I have been wearing them all day today – and I feel GLORIOUS!  I can walk!  WOO-HOO!!!  They are amazing.

For you nay-sayers and cautious minded – I have not yet worn them a full day, but I just gotta tell you that I already feel so much better that if this is the best it gets – it was worth every penny Chickie paid and then some!

I am going to worship at the altar of Crocs Shoes for the rest of my life.  I will be buying some in EVERY COLOR OF THE RAINBOW!.  I will sing their praises to the huddled masses.  THESE SHOES ROCK!!!

(OK – so they’re not exactly sexy – unless you are a spare tire looking for a hot date….but heck…pain isn’t all that sexy either.  Well – except under carefully controlled circumstances between consenting adults with code words firmly in place….OOPS.  I strayed.

If your feet hurt – my new love has lots of relatives.  Check em all out at http://www.crocs.com/home.jsp  I swear I will never be fickle again – I am a devoted lover.

Guess what else – you can put them in the DISHWASHER!  Can life really get any better???

but…but…they are UG-LEE! [DUCKING AND RUNNING]

My granddaughter has a pair, and they look adorably cute on her little feet. I’ve seen them everywhere this past summer and they are remarkably comfy. I’m thinking of getting a pair for working in. With a smile…

Wonderful to read about your enthusiasm for all life and living. I believe in love. Happy shoes! and all the rest.

November 1, 2006

chefs SWEAR by these shoes, so i have no doubt they are comfortable. i, however, would be frightened of amorous overtures from a spare tire. glad they work for you tho!!

November 1, 2006

Hmmm. I may have to find me a pair of those!

November 1, 2006

As much time as you spend on your feet, I’m so glad you found an alternative to pain! The old thing about beauty and the eye of the beholder is heavily influenced by degrees of comfort, don’t you think? I gave up on beauty when I found Birkenstocks but the glowing reports from Croc owners may cause me to consider changing brands. In the dishwasher? Are you serious? LOL. Love it.

I commence my mocking: Gah! SO Ugly! I commence my supporting: Yea, you can walk and you feel great! 😉

November 1, 2006

I don’t think they’re so ugly! LOL!

Isn’t it amazing what feeling good can do for a person? Enjoy your new shoes.

Heh, so there *is* a new love in your life, caressing your feet…. nice! 😉

November 1, 2006

they are becoming so popular, and the diswasher? is top rack only? LOL! what color did Chickie get you?

November 1, 2006

Everyone I know who owns a pair of those shoes absolutely raves about them. I’m going to try a pair on the next time I’m in a shoe department.

November 1, 2006

I think they’re adorable! Love the ventilation, too. Congratulations, and Enjoy!

Ooohhhh . . . you’re pushing me so close to the edge here, baby. I also have trouble with feet, knees, legs and shoes, and have been seriously considering throwing caution (and the scorn of family members) to the wind and trying a pair of these. Because it doesn’t matter a DAMN how hot you look if you are in pain, does it?

People at the DIS boards(Disney) sing croc praises all the time. They are coming out with some where the holes are shaped like Mickey heads. It does tempt me, even though they are beyond ugly.

November 1, 2006

But don’t they make your feet sweat?

November 1, 2006

I WANT some!!

November 1, 2006

this made me laugh. I need those shoes.

November 1, 2006

My best friend has been wearing these since they first came out. I have yet to try them, but she’s on her feet all day and swears by them. Hey, if they’re comfy, that’s all that matters!

November 1, 2006

I tried some once but they didn’t hit my arch in the right place and hurt.

November 1, 2006

Heh; I’ve walked by those shoes a number of times in stores and there’s always someone around going on about how wonderful they are. I love the fact that you can get them in a rainbow of colours and I’m sorry for the mockage, but yah, they’re still darned ugly. 🙂

I have a flip flop pair. I think I like them almost as much as I do chocolate.

November 1, 2006

HMMMM, wonder why they’d be comfy.. are they soft? spongy? I wear moccasins a lot cuz I have tender footsies .. anyway glad YOU love em, that’s what counts.. I bet they’ll be very loyal to you (c:

I prefer my bare feet, but if I get ejected from my desert I will have to look for something to slog through the wet.

November 2, 2006

OMG, are you kiddin’? Freakin’ EVERYBODY is wearing those and for a damn good reason…Crocs are THE SHIT! No one believes how kick-ass they are until they actually put them on.

I found you on another diary and wanted to say hi. I like the wolf that moves on your diary side. Where did you get that from? The shoe in this entry is nice. The site was nice too.

November 2, 2006

I bought a pair of yellow crocs and found them every bit as comfortable as you say. I couldn’t keep them though. The holes let in bits of hay which stuck in my foot and hurt, socks or no socks. I loved their light weight and that I could hose them off. They’re perfect for anything but working around hay.

November 2, 2006

I am a skeptic but have heard so many people rave about them. 🙂

Your welcome for stopping by your diary. Glad you liked the Bees Dogs website I shared. That is cool you teach middle or junior high school. I remember taking a home ec class in middle school to learn to cook. We also had computer class and tech ed where you made things out of wood.

November 3, 2006

ROTFLMAO. Who cares what they look like? Comfort has to be the priority. Besides, they’re not ugly. They’re kinda cute.

November 3, 2006

i’ve seen them– but honestly, I couldn’t stomach the sight of them on my feet!

November 27, 2006

I don’t think they are ugly – but then I’m a very long way away from them! I hope they continue to give you daylong love and you now have a rainbow of them. And have you been courted by a spare tire yet?

January 26, 2007

Aint that just sayin it all, Love is comfy feet!!!!!!
