Happy New Year to All

May the new year bring each and every one of you all that you want and more!

Resolutions?  Myriad.  lol  Isn’t that always the way?

But for now, just one to deal with here.  I need to get back to my writing.  I’ve got to recover my heart and sould.  (Cue ominous music)  <Insert DRAMATIC GESTURE here>

Even if its only a little every day.  And for today, it will be just a little.

I am awaiting sentence/verdict from the insurance company – leaky plumbing, mushy walls and ruinded floors – again!

I am painting/redecorating the bedroom which my daughter vacated when she moved to Ft. Bragg.  LOVE the colors – sort of peachy oranges…accents in vibrant greens…  Will look lovely if I ever get it done!  But I was just painting the louvered closet door…quite a pain in the arese…and I looked at my hands and wondered
"Who’s hands are those?"  Wow.  They don’t look ‘old’…but they don’t look young either.  When did THAT happen?

Holidays were lovely (except for the bit about the plumbing) and Chikie and family did manage to get down for just a couple of days.  At least I didn’t miss my darling baby girl opening presents.  Son Young Stud and wife are in Hawaii for the holidays.  Lucky dogs!

I WILL be a better diarist this year – and that includes catching up with everyone soon!
