Done…and Begun

A chapter is done….but the book is barely begun. Chickie has graduated from high school!

She filed in and sat formally with 474 classmates…

At the appointed time she filed up to the stage to receive her diploma. The formality was slipping a little – is that a smile on her face?

And soon, but not TOO soon…she was filing out with her classmates, diploma in hand and big smile on her face.

We were all very happy for her – although I thing her brother reacted in the most visible manner….

It doesn’t look like his wife is trying to ignore him – or pretend he doesn’t exist – does it? My sister is just used to him, so she is just observing "normal’ behavior.

But he did straighten up and fly right for Chickie….and here are my TWO adult children…. wow. Life is really amazing.

I am so pleased for her…..and for me! This has released a huge flood of feelings and emotions though……ones I will probably talk about here…but later. For now, I’ve just stolen a few minutes to post this entry and catch up & note a few of you. Young Stud is still here and occupying much of my attention. I’ll be back later when I can steal a few more minutes….. But I just had to come say……..HALLELUIA!

Congratulations to both of you! I am so very happy for you. It seemed to me that I worked for 14 years and then the big moment came and it just flew by. I remember thinking of dirt on my shoes because I was bored LOL. Job well done!!!!!

I don’t think I want total seclusion…..just quiet and peace when “I” want it. Not too demanding for living a housing development, am I?

banderas is one of those and Jimmy Smits is another, a man can look at them and honestly think, Ok I see where women might find this attractive.. I watched an awful movie with Raquel Welch, because it had Borgnine from Mc Cales Navy and I figured it’d be a comedy. Brognine, Martin Strothers and Jack Elam rape Raquel and I’m like , “This isn’t very funny”.

grown men went to see this film just to watch 3 ugly men rape a woman. That doesn’t sound much like a comedy to me. I have to admit she did look good in that poncho.. I don’t think Rape and Comedy go together very well.

I looked at the photo of your son and I thought, MS Wolf’s son is Jeff Goldblume..wow. I didn’t realize. maybe Goldblume is the secret dad..keeping secrets Ms Wolf?

take a look, a long look at those two photo’s, those eyes, that playful manner and tell me thats not off spring from Goldblume. It’s ok. And congrats to your daughter. As a fire sign, born in the year of the Rooster I’m always hesitant to call a female, chick..

Congratulations to Chickie and to her Mum! I really like those photos. The last one shows two fine adults, looking full of life and spirit. I can imagine the emotions released on this day for you. RYN: “bickie” is Australian for “biscuit” We label them sweet biscuits (cookies) and dry biscuits (crackers) So, in American, the snack was crackers and cheese.

I’ve always been told that the high school diploma goes to the mom, and the college diploma goes on the office wall. Is that still true..? Oct 23, is that Scorpio?

ryn: yes, the study does differentiate between melanoma and other forms of skin cancer. Basically it states that while a lot of sun can cause skin cancer, these are very curable vs. the cancers that sun exposure prevents.
