Coming Home

Look ahead, look back

Suspend disbelief where you are,

Survey the prospects

Weigh the possibilities

Can you come home again

To a place you’ve never been?

Eyes closed, heart open

The sounds that cannot be heard

Vibrate in your core

As you breathe

Up from the Mother

And reach into creation

To connect with…….what?

Step ahead, fall behind

Spirals within circles abound

As the path is trod

Returning to what lies ahead

All towards the wish to achieve

A homecoming that was never meant

Written across the journal of the universe

Freedom binds us in chains

The faster the race, the slighter the evolution

And the need is always there

To regain a place in what has been written

On pages too full to go back & restore

Ever the urge to come back home again

Ever the quest for the unknown familiar.

Look absent, look true

Engage credence where you are

Consider it not

The question is unlikely

The answer untrue

Home is in no way the point you’ve been before

It is afterall where the heart is. 🙂

Sunshine, Its nice to see you back. Good catching up with Torin too isn’t it. The Wall poem was well written – It stirred up some memories. (smile)

this touches the soul, may I copy it in my book of shadows?

You were right. It is an awesome entry.

Don’t know where in the South you are, but I leave a little Lynyrd Skynyrd in honor of your entry. Sweet home Alabama Where the skies are so blue Sweet Home Alabama Lord, I’m coming home to you ~Collins & Van Zandt~ It’s always nice too come home To the ones you love. ~~Wolf~~

You’d send it all the way to AUSTRALIA?? *grin* Never mind, I found it…and am blissfully ensconced once more in the trials of Rand, Nynaeve and the Chosen… *happy sigh*

Home is where the largest bunch of clean underwear and little frog statues resides…. and in our mind…we can make the home, the house, *grin* that’s another factor. Anybody can have a house. Tis the wolfie that makes it a grand home for all around her.

This is very deep… I hope all is well for you.

nicely written. RYN: I hope there is a “happily ever after”. Glad you’re back.

Thanks for the note 😉 I will survive is an awesome song. Have a good day! *Love Always*

I love your new colors, and this poem. “Home” for me is a place inside, a place I return to many times though never actually having been there before. It’s good to be home again. 🙂 Shalom,
