Bounty
Being back in her “normal” form, she asked to speak to Mother Nature. Mother Nature obliged.
Mother Nature appeared young and willowy – fluid – and dressed in gossamer fairy fabric. The seeker asked Mother Nature to speak to her of the bounty that lies within her.
Mother Nature spoke to her of love. She told the woman that she had not yet begun to touch her capacity to love. She illustrated the point by showing how one drop of water related to an entire ocean. My love, as expressed so far, is the mere drop.
The woman asked Mother Nature about her desire to have a man in her life to share her love with.
Mother Nature smiled and said “You have a man in your life to love – you have your father”.
The woman brushed this off. She explained that she had meant a mate – a boyfriend – a partner. Mother Nature did not respond.
As they were talking, a man ran by on the edges of their periphoral vision. He was clothed only in pants – no shirt, no shoes. He ran by quickly and they did not see who he was, so intent were they on their conversation. Perhaps he was just a stray traveller in the journey world who had wandered into their story.
The woman thanked Mother Nature for her lessons and her bounty. In return, Mother Nature presented the woman with a single drop of water.
The young woman retraced her steps, back through the cave, bathed one last time in the shallow pool, donned her clothing, and left.
…and lo and behold, bumped into the young pants man!!
