Hijacked

Sunshine doesn’t know I’m writing this, but I don’t know when he’ll have time to get in here to update.  And as far as I know, he doesn’t have ready access to a computer, so getting on OD is way down on his ‘to do’ list.  Anyway, the reason I’m here is to give y’all a brief update.

As of today, Sunshine is finished with the processing and will be on a 24-hour standby.  That means that they could call him any time and he has to be ready to go the next day.  He still has lots to do as far as getting his stuff into storage and organized and deciding what he’s going to take and what he’s leaving and what he wants us to ship once he’s there.  So however long it takes for them to organize the flight to Iraq is however long he has before he goes, if that makes sense.  He still doesn’t know what he’ll be doing once he gets there, but he does know where he’ll be.  I don’t know if he’s allowed to talk about that, though. 

Needless to say, I’m not very happy about the turn of events, but it’s his life, right?  I just have to hope for the best and keep him in my prayers.  Y’all do the same, ya hear?
