Birthday

Well, I’ve managed to get through my birthday without doing much of anything. I’ve tried to get myself started on doing some work down here in the basement, and cleared stuff away from one wall and put it over near another. Other than that, I pretty much laid around all day, chatted on the phone, and played on the computer most of the day. Had a great visit with Gift of Angels, who called me to wish me a Happy Birthday and check up on my diagnosis of the whole hurricane issue. I still say it won’t amount to much by the time it gets here, but I guesss we are still going to bring the stuff in from the porch and the deck. So, that would be 8 chairs, three tables, two gas grills, and one 15 foot canoe. Still doesn’t amount to the number of items my roommate purchased for “storm supplies”. LOL

Her father called to tell her to make sure she had enough supplies. He said she should fill the tubs with water, and have 3 gallons of water for each individual in the house. Well, I guess I know where she gets it now. LOL She hasn’t asked me to set up the bed I have in storage in the basement yet, but I’m thinking it will probably be done before the week is done. Pink might come over and stay for the night of the storm, I guess. I still think it is Much Ado About Nothing, but who am I to say, right?

oh well, we will be prepared if something does happen! Now my Birthday is over, and I’m about ready to hit the sack!
