it’s official….

….i have THE worst luck in the world.

yesterday afternoon, i got into an accident with my brand new car.

god did, however, decide to show me SOME mercy yesterday, as the accident wasn’t even partially my fault.  i was sitting at a red light at an intersection.  when my light turned green, i started to go through it, and the next thing i know, a honda crv is slamming into my driver’s side and i’m spinning and the air bag is in my face and my glasses are flying and i don’t know what’s happened.

when the car finally stopped moving, it took me a few seconds to realize that i had just been hit – HARD- by some asshole trying to make it through their red light!

i tried getting out of the car, but my door was so bashed in that i couldn’t open it.  so i had to crawl out of the passenger side.  i then proceeded to FLIP OUT on the dumb bitch who hit me.  she looked a little younger than me, maybe 21 or 22, and was obviously driving her mommy’s car, because all she kept saying was, "my mom’s gonna kill me!"

i readily agreed with her, and then proceeded to shout various obscenities at her until i mustered up the good sense to call 911.

i ended up in the emergency room after talking to the cops.  the air bag burned my cheek a little, and i have a tiny cut in the corner of my left eye.  my left eyebrow was swollen as hell (probably from where my glasses smashed it) and my nose was also swollen, and i thought maybe it was broken.  the doctor did a CAT scan, and there were no fractures or anything, just some minor swelling in my face and nose.  thank god for air bags:  if i was in my old car, my head would have gone right through the driver’s side window.  thank god for small favors, right?
