NoJoMo Day 7

Election Day is over, and the American people have spoken….President Obama gets another four years.  I hope and pray that during this next four years he will get to accomplish more of what he set out to accomplish, and I really hope and pray that all the men and women who have a hand in running this country get their heads out of their asses and work WITH the President, instead of against him, and work for the common good of us, the American people.  Enough name calling, finger pointing and mud slinging….everyone put on their big girl and big boy panties and do your damn job.

On a totally different note, I’m becoming an ebay junkie….as in selling stuff on ebay.  I have all this stuff…..stuff that’s either brand new or never been used, that I don’t need or use, so I figured, what the hell…make some extra money!  And that’s what I’ve been doing.  I’ve sold a purse, two fashion scarves, some little girl pajamas, a laptop computer bag….I’m on a roll here!  The only thing about selling on ebay that kinda sucks is you gotta pay them a fee, but it’s very minimal, so I can live with it.  And the only thing that sucks about Paypal, which is the only way I’ll accept payment, is that once the person pays for their item, Paypal holds onto the money for 7-10 days before releasing it.  But again, Paypal is the safest way to get and send money, so I can live with that too.

I got my school books the other day….finally going to finish up my medical billing and coding classes, and then hopefully get a job in that field.  Since I qualified for unemployment, and it pays me enough to pay my car payment, car insurance, cell phone bill, and still have about $500 extra each month, there’s no reason for me not to finish this up and change career courses.  I’m also enjoying the fact that I’ve been able to become a little more domesticated! LOL!  I’ve been cooking and cleaning, running errands…I’m enjoying being just a wife right now.  And the best part about not working is that it’s enabled me to make some major changes where my health is concerned.  Cooking instead of eating out all the time = much healthier!  And I’ve been walking for over an hour a day on my treadmill.  My blood sugar is doing much better, and I’ve lost almost 15 pounds….YAY ME!

And now I have to run to the post office and mail out the laptop computer bag I sold on ebay!  I hope you all have a wonderful day…much love!!

you are exactly right that now is the time for everyone to come together and work together towards a brighter future instead of fighting and getting nothing done. blocking things that could make our lives better out of spite is just wrong, and that goes for both sides. that’s great that you’re getting back to your medical billing/coding classes… how much longer will it take to finish?<br> and congrats on being healthier! it really is difficult to find time to exercise and make better food choices when you’re not working, i am 100% with you there. go you, you are awesome! 😀

ryn: i promise i won’t make you eat stinky cheese! but if it does, by some miracle of god, taste good, i’ll offer you some. i’ll offer you a clothespin for your nose first, too 😉 and i thought the same thing when i read muted exposure’s note… there is no way i’d put a stinky wiener in my mouth. i am really picky about cleanliness when it comes to bathing suit area parts! however,it got me to thinking that a man’s package, even when clean, is probably significantly more germy than packaged cheese, and in this day and age smell does not always equal gross. from an evolutionary standpoint bad smell = don’t put it in your mouth makes sense, but that isn’t necessarily true now that we have nice body washes and can produce smelly foods that aren’t rotten. wow, i am really thinking too much about putrid smells and penis, aren’t i? 😉
