NoJoMo Day 20

Okay, I know I’ve missed a few days this month, but if you look back at my past entry calendars, you’ll see that the number of entries I’ve posted this month so far are a major improvement….so there! 😛

Tony’s ex-wife (Cheryl) and his two younger daughters were headed to Cheryl’s mom and dad’s house in Michigan tonight to spend the rest of the week, so we met them in Maumee, OH and had dinner with them at Carrabba’s.  We had such a nice time!  Cheryl and I have been getting along really well, and I could tell by how the girls were acting tonight that they are much more relaxed and in a better mood when they see that all of us so-called adults are getting along and playing nice.  I’m going to do my best to make sure it stays this way, because I want to do what’s best for the kids.

Last night I went to bed when hubby did, slept well, got up at 7:30 this morning and….get this….stayed up all day long!!!  I know, right??  I’m still shocked too!  I cleaned the kitchen, watched some t.v., showered and got ready to go meet Cheryl and the girls….it was just a nice day.  It’s 11:45 p.m. right now and as soon as I’m done with this entry I’m going to head to bed and hopefully have another repeat of last night and this morning….only if I do, this time I’m also going to do some housework and some laundry too.  I also have some errands to run tomorrow.

My mood is still good since changing my meds back to the original plan.  I did do some crying for a tiny bit today, but it’s just because General Hospital was so damn sad! LOL

Oh, some awesome news!  My son just found out today that he passed the advancement test and is now a Second Class Petty Officer!!!!!  *insert me positively beaming here*  I am so damn proud of that kid….he’s awesome!
