NoJoMo Day 11
The weather here today was absolutely gorgeous! Sunny and 65…perfect!! Fall is my favorite season…I just love sweater weather.
Hubby and I went to our usual place for breakfast today, then went grocery shopping. Unfortunately, this was one of those trips where we needed laundry soap, dishwasher soap, and other cleaning supplies. That means the bill goes up quite a bit…..blah.
Fifty Shades of Grey (the first of the trilogy) is starting to get on my nerves now. The main female character, Ana, is turning into a whiny bitch, and Christian Grey, the main male character, only wants to screw. I’m so over all the sex and want them to actually have a conversation that doesn’t end with them screwing. If nothing changes by the end of this book I’m going to be very pissed, because I bought the trilogy and now I don’t even know if I want to read the other two. Very stupid on my part….I should’ve just bought the first one and seen how I liked it before buying the other two.
I’m debating as to whether or not to put up a Christmas tree this year. I love it when my home is decked out for the holidays, but we probably won’t be here for Christmas, and I hate hate HATE when it’s time to put it all away. Maybe I’ll just put out some decorations but no tree. I need to find out if we’re going to be here or not…that’ll help me decide.
I went ahead and bought tickets online to go see Breaking Dawn 2 this coming Saturday, because since it’ll be opening weekend for it, I know it’s going to be total chaos at the theater and will probably get sold out quickly. My friend Stacey and I are going to go see it, then go for sushi afterwards. I am so looking forward to it….the move and the sushi! Stacey just had her first baby almost six weeks ago, so she says she’s ready to get out of the house for a few hours sans baby. Tony and I are going to go over to their house early, so we can finally meet little Gabriel, then Tony and Jorge (Stacey’s fiance) are on baby duty while Stacey and I are out.
Some of the radio stations are already playing Christmas music…..good grief! Way too early, in my opinion. After Thanksgiving is when they should start with the Christmas music, not after Halloween!
Anyway, I have a doc appointment at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, so I need to try and get some sleep. Wish me luck!
I hope everyone had a blessed day…..lotsa love! xoxo
someone should start a tree-disassembling business post-christmas. talk about cha-ching! no one likes to rip down the tree, i think there’s a lot of profit to be made in that… oh no, two men in charge of a baby? sounds like the plot to a cheeky comedy movie! good luck with the doctor appointment!
