Just 1 1/2 weeks

Until Aiden turns 1 and Chris loses his job. We’re super excited about Aiden’s party. We are having a dinosaur theme, and it’s gonna be fun, I hope. His birthday is on the 12th, but we are having the party on Sunday the 15th. We’re gonna do something small here with just the 3 of us on the 12th.

Unfortunately (fortunately… kinda a double edged sword), Chris’ last day of employment is on the 13th. *sigh* I don’t know how we are going to make it through the next couple of months with him not getting a check and me not getting paid until a month after I turn in invoices. My big job doesn’t start up until the 23rd, and I don’t get that first check (11 hours a day, 5 days a week) until March 15th. Chris’ last check will be on the 17th, and who knows when his unemployment will start up.

Other than that, things are going alright here. Everyone seems to be well, though Aiden still has the runs. I’m wondering if that’s from the week of no solid foods last week. I’m sure it will take a bit to get everything out of his system.
