Halloween and update on us

Halloween was nice, though it started out kinda crappy. I ended up going to the doctor and found out I have pink eye. It really stinks, but I’m recovering from it. We had a busy day ahead of us as my niece had a 3rd birthday party starting at 5:30, and trick-or-treating started at 6. We didn’t get left from there until nearly 7. We dressed Aiden up as a scarecrow and took him to family members’ houses. We started in Noblesville and worked our way back to Anderson. It was a fun evening, but we didn’t get home until after 10, and Aiden hadn’t had a nap due to my doc appt, so he was a bit cranky.

Saturday was a good day. I had been making lots of baby food the past several days, and I ended up making yellow squash and pumpkin on Saturday. I also pealed, cored, and cut up a ton of pears so they would be ready to cook today. Father D came over for a bit, and he and Zip worked on their characters for Hunter and kept an eye on Aiden while I was in the kitchen. By the time I was finished with food, it was time to head up to the Danger Room. We hung out for a bit, and then it was time for Bob to start his game. They stopped early as Brandy had to be at work an hour before Bob, and they rode together. There was also a bit of tension at the game, but I don’t want to get into it here. After they left (the game was obviously over) we all stayed after for awhile just catching up and talking with each other. It was a good time, and Aiden was pretty good the whole evening.

Today I made peaches and pears for Aiden. We really didn’t do a whole lot today other than that. Went to the store and bought some more different foods to make for Aiden and some random things we needed around the house. Had dinner and watched the Colts game. Zip went to bed at half time, but I stayed up for the big win. Now I’m up watching Food Network, and I’ll get to bed probably a little after 2 am.

Hope all is well with everyone!

Jess

I want to see pictures of the little scarecrow! I’ve had pink eye a few different times through my college years, and it’s never any fun. I hope yours goes away fast! The Colts win was so great last night!
