3 down… 7 to go

Today marks the end of week 3 of 10 at that middle school job. It’s been a fairly good week as I got off early 3 days this week. Unfortunately I’m having trouble getting one of my checks (I should have had it on the 3rd, and I still don’t have it on the 13th…), and Chris still doesn’t have access to his unemployment money (he got his first payment on Monday), so we’re a little more than struggling to get bills paid/food on the table. My MIL loaned us some money to help until I start getting my bigger checks coming in, and she paid Chris today to change the brakes on her car (less than she would have paid a mechanic for sure, but it really helped us both out).

I stopped in at my old (and soon to be new) office and visited with everyone who was available. I think Chris was a bit ticked that I didn’t come straight home after trying (without success) to pick up my check, but it was great to be able to catch up with Jenny and Mary.

Well, Aiden is fussing, and I need to get things picked up in the living room. Hope you are all well!!
