Stupid idiot went and found a girl Just. Like. Me.

Stayed up last night talking to my brother. We started around midnight and went on until 5 in the morning. I just woke up and it’s 1:15 in the afternoon the next day. Ha, I love it when he’s here. With my sister being so addicted to her boyfriend and my parents just being…parents, it’s hard for me to talk to anyone who knows me well enough to hear out my thoughts. Within reason, I know I have you guys. 

Lio and I stayed up talking about our ex’s. Why? Well, the girl he lost his virginity to (is one of my greatest, closest friends) came over yesterday. We went swimming and he was really struggling by wanting to be with her again. He was missing her an awful lot. It was sweet really, you know, apart from the fact that she is irrevocably over him.

First he started by telling me what happened. (He and I are so oddly close we share intimate stories. Weird? It doesn’t bother us, which I think is weird. But hey, he was right next to me with my good friend doing god-knows-what while I was on the other couch with Michael.) It was kind of sad to hear how he misses her. His dilemma is that he’s attempting to woo another girl we go to church with. She’s a pure little church girl, virgin to intimacy of any sort. He feels a bit convicted having already boinked someone. I can understand that though.

The night went on as we eventually got to a point where we were reminiscing so much we missed our ex’s. Not good. It so happened that I had texted Michael an hour or so before Lio and I started taking. Just asking him if he was awake,  nothing major. I figured since he started texting me, why couldn’t I just pop a hello. Plus I wasn’t expecting for Lio to stay up so long! I was thinking if Michael answered we could just stay up talking like we did last time. (I wasn’t missing him when my brain figured this out.)

When we got to my story I tried to make him understand what Michael put me through. I told him about the movies we saw after we broke up, the fact that he cheated on Paola and I cheated on Tyler with him, the fact that it happened more than once. Lio didn’t know. But when he started talking about Paola he actually told me that the reason he thinks he likes her so much is because she reminds him of me. Can you believe that? Michael stops seeing me only to find a girl JUST LIKE ME. She’s even short-haired and brunette! I thought she was like me but I never had a straight up confirmation before. Lio didn’t understand why I was laughing so hard when he told me that. Somehow I still think he doesn’t like it when I talk about what happened with Michael and me. 

So after all that we spent at least an hour spitting back and forth things we hated about Torie and Michael. That was great up until we got to saying things like, "I hate that I loved it when he/she…" That was what lead to the missing them part.

Overall a very refreshing night. I woke up to a text from  Michael. Apparently he texted me back at like 11:34. Guess I never got the text. Shame, I kind of wanted to tell him what we were talking about. But it didn’t really matter because I could never tell him anything like that ever again.
 

Please someone explain why he chose a girl like me and not me? Guys specifically, your opinion? Ladies your opinion is always welcome 😉
