For all of those of you who aren’t aware of this fact, Disney is in fact spelt with a silent P at the end.

If you admit that you once thought this, we will mock you relentlessly for three days.

I went to KENTWELL! It was so good. So very wonderful. As always. Mayday is the bestest event and the weather was so beautiful (I’m very burnt – less good) and we did lots of dancing and singing and making things with flowers and laying around in the grass and… so much vodka.

I’m tempted to go through every tiny event in great detail, but I think I’ll refrain, because I’ll just bore you. But it was so good.

Less good, however, because everyone has paired off. Caro and Roger. Lauren and Tom. Beth and Jason. Dan and Gemma. Seamus and Bethia. Helen and.. officially Leo, but actually anyone she can lay her hands on. At one point, she was sitting between Bob and Richard, and alternatively pulling each of them. After a while Richard decided she was spending too long with Bob and went off in a huff. Hehe.

But I had such a great time with Kitty, she’s so wonderful. Beth didn’t come till Monday morning, which was a pity, but at least I got to spend one day with her. I spoke to her on the phone on Sunday night too, when Kitty and I were by the potters campfire.

We ended up with so many inside jokes too. ‘Kitty, give me the rat DIRECTLY, not roundaboutly, DIRECTLY!’. And all manner of other ones, usually to do with putting silent P’s on the end of words. We sat on the steps by the moat drinking a bottle of the most disgusting cheap wine which was ‘gruuuuusome’ and trying to play dares, such as stroking a fish. But I forgot why my hand was in the moat and when a fish came near me, screamed and propelled myself back up the stairs. Which was funny.

And I just found a picture of me from a couple of year ago too, with a very wonky costume front – I remade it and it’s fine now! Me and Tom Isn’t he so cute? I was looking after him for the whole week, and he was so good.

Next Sunday, hopefully, I’m going to Cressing Temple where there’s a big re-enactors fair. Nearly all of my friends are going, apart from Kath and Hannah, because they live in Wales. I’m going to ask Rose if she wants to come so she can meet them all 🙂

Anyway, I have to write an article about the MayDay riots for our paper.
