Day 8 — Your favorite internet friend

Dear ND

It’s hard to imagine we’ve been friends for over 15 years now. Who would have thought that irc chats would have been the beginnings of such a good friendship. I honestly count you amount the very best of my friends. You’ve been a wonderful ear when I’ve needed it and hopefully I’ve been the same for you. In many ways we are so much a like. I often wonder what it would be like if we were in the same town. In the best of worlds, you and your spouse would be a couple we would hang around with often. Maybe one day we’ll get that chance.

I will always be thankful for the technologies that made this huge world smaller.
