Letter #5

This one is hard…

Day 5 — Your dreams

Dear Dreams…

Where have you gone? In the dark of the nights I’ve wondered what’s become of you and when we started to lose contact. I will always blame myself. It’s so easy to let the mundane issues of life get in the way, to choose the safer or easier path. Yours always excited me but regardless of what I may project to others, I sometimes lacked the confidence to reach out and take your hand.

You’ll be happy to know that I am going through some changes now. I feel some of the old me fighting it’s way back to the surface. I hope we’ll be reunited again. I am not sure what new directions you may show me but I believe I am ready to look now. Certainly I am ready to try some new things. There is a lot of adventures still out there and you are never to old to explore them.

I look forward to seeing you again soon.

I find it interesting that some people considered ‘dreams’ to be actual dreams as in when you sleep, while others considered it to be lifelong dreams.

Love seeing other people’s letters here–good thing about dreams, you can always start over…just choose things to look forward to and yes we are never too old to have adventures.
