division

Division was one of the first "big" words I learned how to spell when I was little. Really little, like six. I liked it because it had so many ‘i’ ‘s in it.

I just drove on Division Street. Back to Warner Pacific. I’m staying tonight here again with Stephanie, so that I could see Rich again this evening. I was going to go back home this morning, but then I found out he had free time tonight again. So I stayed. I went and got him at 4:30ish, after he’d finished all his processing for the day. We hugged one of those hugs where they are so tight they almost hurt. We drove back to WPC, had dinner (he ate tacos, I had salad.) Steph went to class, and he and I watched part of some movie with Harrison Ford in it – not sure what one. I fell asleep in his arms during it.  After I woke up from my brief nap, we went to the mall for a bit. Walked around Barnes and Nobles for an absurd amount of time. Then hit a few clothing shops. Finally went to Ben & Jerry’s and split an ice cream cone out under the stars with the sparkly pavement. I really adore the sparkly pavement. Not as much as I adore Richard, however. We drove back to the hotel he’s staying at and said our "see you laters." I promised to drive safely and call as soon as I got back to the college. Hugged another rib crushing hug.

I’m back at WPC now. Called him, I got in just fine. He had to get to bed – wake up call at 4am. I ask, and he says he’ll call in the morning (at like 4) to say good-morning. Then his flight leaves at about 6:45am. By tomorrow evening he will be safely in South Carolina, and I will be safely back in The Dalles.

Division.

I’ll keep praying for you two. This has to suck for you. And, as always, if you need anything I’m there. Except maybe for watching Rogue again — he’s psychotic!

Rogue is NOT psychotic… he’s misunderstood.
