A variety of tiny things juggling around my mind. I’ve been out and about, seeing the world and visiting old friends. Trying to remember what life was like before I started school. Sucking every drop of enjoyment out of the semester break. This means some of the practical and important Real World Things I was going to get done, haven’t. On the other hand, I feel a lot more prepared for the coming semester — in the sense that I don’t hate waking up every morning. I’m a little closer to being at peace with my life.

Xmas was decent stuff. I got to see my family all together, which was something I lack. I’ve vented about that lately. I got some swag that I really, really wanted. But I think the family time was better. Wish I had the leisure time and money to travel and visit them all more often than I do.

I must say, my New Year’s party was the best since my Uber Millennium Bash. There was less debauchery at this particular party — nobody got naked. Which was probably for the best. Also, less vomiting. Which was impressive, considering there was decidedly more drinking. Hooray, booze! The focus for this party was Bad Cinema. So many bad movies! So much impromptu MST3K’ing!

Anyway.

My fledgling business is just that — a fledgling. I installed the last bit of necessary software today to get our site up and 100% usable. Now I just need customers.

So — I figure an appeal to readers might not be out of line. How about helping a fellow ODer succeed in his small business venture? Helping him work for himself instead of a faceless, heartless corporation?
