I am so ready to POP!

Well last Friday I went to the doctor and asked if the baby was turned right yet. He hadn’t. He was being a typical male and being stubborn. So I had to have an ultrasound done on Wednesday to see what exactly his position was. I get up Wednesday morning and was sitting on the couch, when all of a sudden my stomach started taking on some weird shapes. The little guy was turning on his own. Thank goodness. I really didn’t want them to have to manually turn him. *shudders* The ultrasound tech said he weighs 7 lbs 9 oz right now and he was definitely in position. Now we’re just playing the waiting game to see when he’s going to decide to head towards the light! As of my last doctors visit I was 1 cm dialated. Hopefully by Friday I’ll be more dialated, but we’ll see. I am so ready to see him! My husband has been talking to my belly telling the baby he needs to come out so he can hold him and play with him and make him giggle. It’s so cute. This pregnancy has been great, but I’m so ready for it to be over!

In other news, the Kentucky Derby was yesterday. Not that I really care, but all the celebrities were out over the weekend. There’s two big parties that happen here in Louisville on Friday night. The Mint Jubilee and the Barnstable Brown party. The Barnstable Brown party takes place exactly one block from my house. Now we weren’t here last year at this time to witness all the insanity, but let me tell you it was insane! Our neighbor had a party called the Unstable Clown party. She invited all these people to dress crazy and wave to the limos as they drove by our house. We had some friends over and they had never seen the house where this party was taking place so we walked over to it. Of course there were barricades up and everything. People everywhere. Just pure craziness. We didn’t see any celebrities however because we walked over there kind of early. It was interesting thought to watch all the limos go by and all the people that were walking by our house just to get to this mansion and catch a glimpse of a celebrity. It was a nasty day on Friday too. Rained like crazy. I drove to work at 8:30 by the mansion where this party takes place and there were already people there waiting! *shakes her head* Crazy people.

My husband and I saw Spiderman 3 yesterday. It was allright. Nothing to be too thrilled about. It had its moments but it was kind of drawn out I thought. The best part was the preview for the new Pirates! I’m so disappointed that it comes out only 5 days after I’m due. Maybe this little guy will debut early so we can have someone babysit while we go see it. hehe I may just have to settle for when it comes out on DVD. Oh well! Anyway. I guess that is all for now.
