4 month check up.

Current mood: giddy

Braeden had his 4 month check up this past Wednesday. He was 13 lbs 9 oz and 25 1/4 inches long! He is in the 50th percentile for his weight which is average. And he is in the 90th percentile for his height which of course is above average. Everyone always comments on how long he is. He’s long and lean. He’s doing pretty good with sleeping in his crib. No more sleeping with Mommy and Daddy. Thankfully. I definitely didn’t want him sleeping in our bed when he was starting kindergarten or longer! We finally went and got his picture taken yesterday at Wal-Mart. I picked them because I thought it would be cheaper than say JCPenney where I work. Hah. They advertise 30 pictures for like $5.99. Of course I knew that would only be one pose which was not a problem. The problem is all the other pictures they take that are so freaking adorable that you feel like you need one of each. Well an extra sheet of anything other than the standard pose is $10 a sheet! Ridiculous! So we ended up with 2 extra sheets and then 2 collages (they have 3 pictures each on them) that are 10X13 which are also $10 each. So we spent $50 on his first professional pictures. Next time we’ll definitely go to JCPenney seeing as how there’s always coupons for $3.99 a sheet plus a free 8X10 AND I get my associate discount.

My last day as a supervisor is Friday. *does a jig* Thank god! I go on vacation for a week and then I come back and start on the pricing team. I am so excited! It is going to be so much less stress. And soon I may be leaving JCPenney anyway. My friend’s mom is opening her own daycare and wants me to be her assistant director. Well she’s found a building already and has talked to loan people. I asked when she wants to get it open and she wants it open by November 1st! Way sooner than I expected. I assumed it would be next year at the latest! We’ll see if that actually happens. But I can’t wait for that either. She’s going to pay what I make at JCPenney’s plus pay my healthcare. Daycare of course would be free for Braeden and I’d have weekends off again! And all holidays! Woot! Hopefully that’ll happen soon. 🙂 That’s all I have for now! Later!
