Long Weekend Over / J’s Coming Birthday

So, another month flew past. Didnt realise it has been more than a month since I last wrote something here.

Just had a long weekend and now I’m back at work on a Monday. Sigh. Why does time past so fast when you are enjoying? But then, my boss is away for his in-camp training so I’m very much left alone for these 2 weeks.

J’s birthday is coming this weekend and I dont know what to do on that day. I dont have any plans yet but I already hinted to him that I dont wish to celebrate with his family. It’s not that I’m a bad daughter-in-law but I really hope we can celebrate together. Just the two of us. That has always been the way before we got married and I dont wish for it to change. And the reason I brought it up to him is becoz I knew that his mum would definitely asked abt it. True enough, when we went back to his parents’ house last evening, his mum mentioned something abt having dinner on his birthday. He didnt say anything. Then his sister mentioned something abt letting us celebrate the day alone. Haha.

Anyway, it’s been left at that. No concrete plans yet.

Initially I thought of going for dinner at some restaurant in the Esplanade area so that we can see the fireworks this Sat. But come to think of it, he doesnt like to watch fireworks as much as me.

Still searching for ideas…..
